Fat Tuesday Jazz with Bill Encke & Friends

What would a Mardis Gras party be without NOLA Jazz on Fat Tuesday?  We don't want to find out.  So make plans to join us in celebrating the season.  Masks are optional:)  Showtime 6-9 PM.  

Bill Encke hangs out with some accomplished musician friends.  Here's a short bio:

Chuck Bregman - piano:

 A native of Dubuque, Chuck has been playing piano since the age of 3.
 Chuck has performed all over the world and has appeared with Dionne Warwick,
the Platters , the Four Aces, as well as numerous big bands.
He spent over a decade as road manager and pianist for the
Russ Morgan Band. He is also an expert rebuilder of player pianos.

Bill Rowley - trumpet:

Bill has been the director of bands at Dubuque Senior High School for 26 years.
He was a member of the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra for 16 years as well as playing in
numerous big bands and combos throughout the Midwest. He is a member of the Upper Main St. Jazz Band.

Dave Resnick - clarinet

Dave has 33 years of teaching composing and performing music. During the last
21 years he has been on the staff of Clarke University in Dubuque. David has written
and directed several musicals. He is a member of the Upper Main St. Jazz Band.

Bill Encke - bass / percussion

Bill has over thirty years experience in various jazz, blues, and rock groups.
He has appeared with jazz legend Woody Herman, Boston Pops conductor Arthur Fiedler,
L.A. studio great Michael Boddicker, Australian blues artist Gerry Joe Wiese,
Jimi Hendrix percussionist Juma Sultan, and many others.
He currently teaches guitar at the University of Dubuque and performs regularly at various area venues.
